About
I started snowskating in 1997 on a skateboard deck with packing tape on the bottom, a couple years later I built my first snowskate with a mold made in Jr. High shop class and materials out of my grandpas garage leftover from my uncles defunct snowboard company.
When I started snowskating it was fun to ride hills around the city or at the mountain after snowboarding, it didn't take long for me to realise riding without bindings offered a more fulfilling mountain experience. All the same lines as on a snowboard were possible, they just required more thought. I hung my snowboard up and started making bindingless boards for all snow conditions. Having a strong distaste for mass production and a poor business sense all Circuit skates are made in small batches with shapes progressing each time. I am always trying new techniques and materials in pursuit of finding what works best and remains sustainable.
